Selon Johnny Cadillac, ancien karatéka belge, le 3⁄4 face est LA position de défense par excellence! La chorégraphe et interprète Loraine Dambermont s’approprie ce principe et livre son guide personnel de survie face à l’expectative du chaos.
Toujours de 3⁄4 face! est un seul en scène, parsemé d’auto-dérision, qui présente un tutoriel en live dévoilant les secrets de self-défense les plus infaillibles pour faire face aux dangers qui nous guettent. De quoi affronter joyeusement notre société dans tout son caractère imprévisible et sa violence sous-jacente.
La performance met au défi la virtuosité physique et mentale de l’interprète en poussant les limites d’un corps astreint entre l’endurance d’un marathon de mouvements et l’extrême précision de sa propre musicalité.

According to Johnny Cadillac, a former Belgian karateka, « 3/4 face » is The ultimate defensive position! The choreographer and performer Loraine Dambermont makes this principle her own and, through a live tutorial, reveals her best self-defense secret skills.
Toujours de 3⁄4 face! is a 20 minute hyper energetic solo performed as a survival guide with hints of humour. Loraine Dambermont also tackles the complex Belgian identity through mouvements all directed towards the paroxysm of self-mockery.
This performance challenges the physical and mental virtuosity of the performer by pushing the limits of a constrained body between a marathon of hyper fast movements, and the extreme precision of its own musicality.
