« Utilisant le phénomène contemporain des clashs par vidéos interposées comme toile de fond, Loraine Dambermont déploie un imaginaire populaire commun autour de la violence des mécanismes d’intimidation et de provocation entre clans rivaux. Elle développe une chorégraphie ‘expéditive’ – à l’image du rap fast-flow – incarnant sur scène des figures qui reflètent et questionnent les stéréotypes virilistes. La précision avec laquelle les mouvements se synchronisent avec le son intensifie l’impact de la performance: cette musicalité singulière devient un fil conducteur, liant l’expressivité d’une gestuelle percutante à une rigueur technique. En amenant ce comportement au plateau, T’façon on est en 2012 cherche l’équilibre entre le paroxysme de l’autodérision et l’extrême sincérité d’un constat inquiétant face à une montée en puissance de l’appel à la bagarre. »

« Using the contemporary phenomenon of video clashes as a backdrop, Loraine Dambermont draws on popular imagery around the violence of intimidation and provocation mechanisms between rival clans. She develops an “expeditious” choreography – like fast-flow rapping – embodying figures on stage that reflect and question virile stereotypes. The precision with which the movements are synchronized with the sound intensifies the impact of the performance : this unique musicality becomes a common thread that links the expressiveness of powerful gestures with technical rigor. By bringing this behavior on stage, T’façon on est en 2012 seeks to strike a balance between the paroxysm of self-mockery and the extreme sincerity of a troubling observation : An escalation of a growing call for fight. »
